Stockton, CA – One person was killed in a collision involving a train in Stockton on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place near Armstrong and Pearson roads at about 6:10 p.m.
The CHP said a Honda was traveling on Armstrong Road when the driver tried to beat the train but was struck at the railroad tracks.
The driver was killed in the crash.
No other details were available.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
