Santa Maria Valley, CA. – Two people were injured in a head-on collision that happened Sunday night at an intersection in Santa Maria Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred around 9 p.m. at Highway 135 and Union Valley Parkway.

Teams from the CHP, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, and American Medical Response responded to the scene.
Both the woman and the male driver were taken by AMR ambulances to Marian Regional Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries.
CHP Santa Maria Office is investigating the accident.
