San Luis Obispo, CA. – Authorities have released the identities of the two men killed in a collision last week Wednesday night at an intersection in San Luis Obispo.
49-year-old Jose Peralta and Donald Avery Jr., 52, were killed in a traffic collision at Beach and Pismo Streets on May 15.
A vehicle with two men was speeding southbound down Beach Street when it ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with another vehicle, before overturning several times and ejecting the occupants.
Peralta and Avery were rushed to the hospital, where they were declared dead.

San Luis Obispo, CA. – Two people and two others were injured in a car accident that happened on Wednesday night in San Luis Obispo.
The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Beach Street and Pismo Street, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
A vehicle was speeding southbound down Beach Street when it ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with another vehicle.
The speeding vehicle overturned several times and ejected two male occupants who were not wearing seatbelts.
Both men were transported to a local hospital where they died while receiving treatment.
A third occupant was wearing a seatbelt and was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The woman driving the second car was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the car accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
