At least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment

Oakland, CA. – At least one person was injured in a two-car accident on Sunday night in Oakland.
The collision was reported around 8:01 p.m. on the southbound 880 Freeway near 29th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered two cars at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were yet to be determined.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
