Clark County, WA. – 42-year-old Jessica Blinebry was identified as a female crash on in Clark County Friday night.

Blinebry was killed in a wreck on 5 Freeway near milepost 17 at around 10:30 p.m. on May 24.

Reportedly, 44-year-old Guadalupe Munoz of Woodland was operating a Nissan pickup truck when it struck a firetruck before Careening into the initial crash site.

Munoz was arrested and charged with suspicion of vehicular homicide.

ORIGINAL STORY

Clark County, WA. – A woman was killed and another person was critically injured in a traffic collision on the 5 Freeway in Clark County Friday night.

According to the authorities, the wreck happened at around 10:30 p.m. on May 24 on Interstate 5 near Milepost 17.

Reportedly, another driver had crashed about half an hour earlier and was receiving aid. As crews were finishing, a Nissan pickup truck smashed into a firetruck and then careened into the original accident scene.

Firefighters said the Nissan narrowly missed hitting the fire crew but did smash into two bystanders who had stopped to help at the initial accident.

One of the bystanders was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the truck was not injured and was charged with vehicular homicide.
