Riverside, CA. – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run accident Saturday night at an intersection in Riverside as 35-year-old Jesmund Stanley.
The woman was struck around 11:20 p.m. at Kansas Avenue and Roberta Street.
Investigators said Stanley was walking near the intersection when she was hit by a car traveling southbound on Kansas Avenue.
The driver did not stop to render aid.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Stanley dead at the scene.

Riverside, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Saturday night in Riverside.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Kansas Avenue and Roberta Street, according to the Riverside police.
A pedestrian was walking in the area and was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Kansas Avenue.
The unidentified female pedestrian was killed in the accident.
The driver fled the scene and was yet to be located.
