One person was pronounced dead, while another was transported to the hospital in unknown condition

Bakersfield, CA. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening near Delano in Bakersfield.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 65 near Highway 155 at around 6:22 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least three vehicles were involved in the crash. The impact of the collision sent one of the cars down an embankment.
Two people were pinned in their vehicles and had to be extricated.
One person was pronounced dead, while another was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
