Laguna Niguel, CA. – A motorcyclist died in a traffic collision that happened Thursday afternoon near an intersection in Laguna Niguel, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said.
The wreck took place around 5:15 p.m. near Golden Lantern and Hidden Hills Road.
The motorcyclist collided with a sedan under unclear circumstances.
The rider succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.
Authorities closed the southbound lanes of Golden Lantern from Paseo de Colinas to Hidden Hills Road following the collision. The lanes were reopened at 9 p.m.
