According to the California Highway Patrol, Durazo was hit by a vehicle on the southbound side of the freeway

Los Angeles, CA – The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon has been identified as Miguel Durazo, Jr., 42, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office.
The crash happened on the Hollywood (101) Freeway at about 1:45 p.m. May 30.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Durazo was hit by a vehicle on the southbound side of the freeway.
Durazo was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At least two lanes of the freeway were shut down following the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
