Miguel Sotelo Killed in Bakersfield Bicycle Crash on North Chester Avenue near McCord Avenue
Bakersfield, CA – Miguel Angel Sotelo, 63, of Bakersfield, has been identified as the bicyclist who was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Bakersfield on Saturday night, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
The wreck happened at about 9:14 p.m. June 1, on North Chester Avenue near McCord Avenue.
Authorities said Sotelo was riding a bicycle west across North Chester Avenue when he was hit by a 2004 Chevrolet traveling northbound.
Sotelo was taken to Kern Medical, where he later died.
The crash is under investigation.
