Bakersfield, CA. – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash at Niles Street in Bakersfield Thursday afternoon.
The police responded to the auto-pedestrian accident at about 4 p.m. at Niles and Vale Streets.
Reportedly, a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the area in unclear circumstances before fleeing the crash site.
The victim suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
