A pickup truck was northbound on Bonds Flat at a high rate of speed and the driver was trying to pass another vehicle when he collided head-on with an oncoming SUV
Tuolumne County, CA. – 65-year-old Cindi Schucterman of Salida has been identified as one of the two passengers who died in a head-on collision that claimed the lives of both drivers near La Grange in Tuolumne last week Friday, May 31.
The 5 p.m. accident happened on Bonds Flat Road near La Grange Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
56-year-old Michael Keith, of Stockton, was driving a pickup truck northbound on Bonds Flat when he drifted into the southbound lanes to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a southbound Toyota Highlander driven by 33-year-old Janelle Hall, of La Grange.
Schucterman, Michael, and Hall were killed in the accident.
A second passenger of the pickup truck identified as 66-year-old Donna Yarnal of Modesto also died in the accident.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
