Apple Valley, CA. – One person was taken to the hospital after a truck accident that happened early Thursday morning in Apple Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported around 1:45 a.m. on Interstate 15, just south of the Wild Wash Road on-ramp.
A semi-truck collided with a white Chevrolet Silverado truck for an unknown reason. The truck got wedged underneath the big rig, trapping one person inside.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the victim from the wreckage.
The victim was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The truck was towed away with major front-end damage.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
