Stanislaus County, CA – The juvenile bicyclist who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Stanislaus County on June 7 has been identified as Jonathan Alexander Ramos, 11, of Crows Landing, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place on Crows Landing Road south of Highway 99, just before 8:30 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said Ramos was riding a bike southbound on Crows Landing Road when he moved to the left and collided with the left side of an Acura.
Ramos was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver remained at the scene after the accident.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were not believed to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
