Mesa, AZ. – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday night in Mesa.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened in the area of Sycamore and Southern avenues at around 9:50 p.m., according to the police.
23-year-old Alex Calderon was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into a Mazda SUV that was making a left turn at the intersection.
Calderon was partially trapped under the SUV and was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver and passenger in the Mazda were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
