Santa Fe Springs, CA. – At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Sunday afternoon on an interstate in Santa Fe Springs, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup occurred around 1:57 p.m. on southbound Interstate 605, just south of the Telegraph Road off-ramp.
According to investigators, three cars were involved in the accident. After the collision, an occupant of one of the vehicles opened a door and a motorcyclist hit it.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash. It was unclear if the victim was hospitalized.
Several traffic lanes were shut down following the accident.
