The bicyclist suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he later died

Apple Valley, CA. – Victor Cunanan, 54, has been identified as the bicyclist who died after being hit by a car earlier this month in Apple Valley.
The fatal bicycle accident happened around 9:10 p.m. on June 3, at Thunderbird Road and Wichita Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Apple Valley man was riding a bicycle on Thunderbird when he was struck by a Ford Explorer driven by a 36-year-old man.
Victor suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he later died.
The driver of the Ford Explorer was uninjured and remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Major Accident Investigative Team (M.A.I.T) is investigating the cause of the accident.
