Miguel Bernardino Dies After Crash on I-580 in Livermore

, CA – The motorcyclist who died in a collision with a vehicle in Livermore last week on Thursday has been identified as Miguel Bernardino, 27, of , according to the Alameda County Coroner's Bureau.

The collision happened on the near the North Livermore Avenue off-ramp at about 5:40 a.m. June 13.

The California Highway Patrol said Bernardino was riding a motorcycle west on I-580 when he attempted to get in between a semi-truck and a sedan.

Bernardino lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected onto the roadway, after which he was ran over by the truck.

CHP said Bernardino was killed in the crash.

The driver of the truck reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The investigation is ongoing.
