Fremont, CA. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday morning on Interstate 880 in Fremont.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 10:25 a.m. on the southbound side of the interstate at the Stevenson Boulevard off-ramp.
A black Triumph motorcycle collided with a blue Mazda minivan for an unknown reason.
The motorcyclist was lying down in the center divider after the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the rider to the hospital with major injuries, including a possibly broken arm.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
