The CHP said Dahl was driving a 2014 Peterbilt semi pulling a trailer northbound on Highway 395 when he tried to turn into a ranch and was hit from behind by a 2012 Mack semi pulling a Chip trailer

Lassen County, CA – Moren Dahl, 45, was injured in a deadly big rig accident on Wednesday morning in Lassen County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened on Highway 395, north of County Road A25 at about 10:40 a.m.
The CHP said Dahl was driving a 2014 Peterbilt semi pulling a trailer northbound on Highway 395 when he tried to turn into a ranch and was hit from behind by a 2012 Mack semi pulling a Chip trailer.
The driver of the Mack semi, a 32-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Dahl was injured in the crash and was taken to Banner Lassen Medical Center for treatment.
The collision is under investigation.
