Man killed in Highway 29 motorcycle accident near Oakville Cross Road in Napa

Napa, CA. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened early Thursday morning in Napa.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened on Highway 29 near Oakville Cross Road and Highway 128 at around 5:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 41-year-old Napa man was riding a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Highway 29 when he drifted into the opposite lanes to pass other vehicles and collided head-on with a 2010 Mercedes sedan operated by a 30-year-old San Francisco man.
The rider was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
