Sacramento, CA. – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday night in Sacramento.
At around 10:45 p.m. the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a collision on Stockton Boulevard at 16th Avenue.
The man was riding a motorcycle approaching the intersection when he crashed into a 1999 Dodge pickup truck that was making a left turn onto northbound Stockton Boulevard from eastbound 16th Avenue.
The rider was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The pickup truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
