Kennewick, WA – Two children were injured in a collision that took place on Thursday night in Kennewick, according to the Washington State Patrol. The incident took place on Highway 395 near Highway 240 shortly before 9:15 p.m. June 20. The WSP said Jesse Moctezuma Chino, 25, of Pasco, was traveling northbound on Highway 395 when he collided with the truck, which was pulling a trailer. Two girls in Moctezuma's vehicle were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland with unspecified injuries. No other injuries were reported. Moctezuma was booked into jail on suspicion of vehicular assault. DUI is suspected to have played a role in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
