Police said 24-year-old Beth Striver of Kennewick was traveling northbound at milepost 2 when she made a left turn and struck three southbound Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Rodney Ahrens and Randy Agnew Killed in Selah Crash on State Route 821 at Milepost 2

Selah, WA. – 69-year-old Rodney Ahrens and 75-year-old Randy Agnew were killed in a traffic collision on Friday morning near Selah, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The accident happened at around 11:00 a.m. on June 21, on State Route 821 at milepost 2 near East Road.

Police said 24-year-old Beth Striver of Kennewick was traveling northbound at milepost 2 when she made a left turn and struck three southbound Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

68-year-old Steven Moeller and 61-year-old Drusilla Moeller, all Renton residents were riding in the third motorcycle. They sustained injuries and were transported to Yakima Memorial. All were wearing helmets at the time.

The Ford driver was not injured in the crash.

Police believed alcohol and/or drugs were involved in the accident.

As per the Washington Department of Transportation, State Route 821 was closed from both directions from East Pomona Road (milepost 1) to Rosa Recreation Site (milepost 7).

An investigation is ongoing.
