Compton, CA. – A boy died, and several others were injured in a bus accident that happened Monday morning at an intersection in Compton, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision occurred around 10:21 a.m. at Rosecrans Avenue and San Pedro Street.
CHP said a Metro 127 bus was traveling eastbound when it collided with a silver Hyundai Elantra at the intersection.
At least three people were hospitalized with critical injuries. One of them, a boy, died while receiving treatment.
The bus driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
