West Rancho Dominguez, CA – Rosa Corado, 41, of Los Angeles, was injured in a deadly car accident in West Rancho Dominguez on Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The wreck happened at about 10:25 a.m. June 24, on Rosecrans Avenue and San Pedro Street.
According to the report, Corado was driving a Hyundai Elantra that was involved in a collision with an eastbound Metro Bus at the intersection.
Corado and her three passengers, a 9-year-old boy, a 35-year-old woman, and a 40-year-old woman, were transported to a hospital with major injuries.
The other driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Authorities said the 9-year-old boy was pronounced deceased at a hospital.
No further details were released.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
