Police said a Hyundai drove into approaching traffic and collided head-on with a pickup truck heading east on Shaw Avenue.
Fresno, CA. – A man was killed while another person was injured in a head-on collision early Wednesday morning in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred a while after 4:00 a.m. on June 26, at Shaw Avenue near Chateau Fresno Avenue.
Police said a Hyundai drove into approaching traffic and collided head-on with a pickup truck heading east on Shaw Avenue.
The man driving the Hyundai was declared dead at the scene. The pickup driver suffered injuries and was hospitalized. The injured party is expected to survive.
Officers closed Shaw Avenue between Chateau Fresno and Monroe following the accident.
Police did not believe alcohol or drugs to have played a role in the collision.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
