The accident happened at around 3:41 a.m. on , in front of Bowers Museum, at 2002 N Main Street.

Police said a white Nissan Altima hit a pedestrian under unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian died in the collision.

A SigAlert was issued closing all lanes following the crash.

The SigAlert was canceled and the roadway cleared at 5:49 a.m.

A tow was requested to remove the Altima from the scene.
