Los Gatos, CA. – Two people were injured in a rollover collision that took place Thursday afternoon in Los Gatos, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred around 12:09 p.m. on southbound State Route 17, just south of The Cats Statues.
A Toyota SUV and a gray Tesla were involved in the accident. The Toyota overturned onto its side, sustaining major damage all around. The Tesla acquired moderate left-side damage.
The driver and a passenger of the overturned car were bleeding. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the victims at the scene. Their injuries were classified as minor. It was not clear if the patients were hospitalized.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
Several traffic lanes were temporarily blocked following the accident.
