1 Killed in Boyle Heights Pedestrian Accident on 5 FreewayLos Angeles, CA. – One person was killed in a collision that happened early Saturday morning near Boyle Heights in Central Los Angeles.
The fatal collision was reported around 12:47 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Interstate 10, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident found an unresponsive female pedestrian down in the lanes. A delivery truck was stopped at the scene, blocking the lanes.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
