Reportedly, a Bakersfield Police patrol car attempted to make a U-turn and crashed with a motorcycle

Bakersfield, CA. – A motorcycle rider was injured in a traffic collision late Thursday night in Bakersfield, police said.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at around 11 p.m. on June 27 in the 900 block of Panorama Drive, just west of BC Panorama Drive campus.
Reportedly, a Bakersfield Police patrol car attempted to make a U-turn and crashed with a motorcycle.
The rider was transported to Kern Medical in stable condition, but the extent of their injuries was unknown.
The officer involved was not hurt.
No more information about the wreck was provided.
An investigation is underway.
