One of the cars had overturned onto its roof after the collision
Pleasant Grove, CA. – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Pleasant Grove.
The fatal collision happened around 2:14 a.m. on Highway 99 near Riego Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident located four vehicles at the accident scene. One of the cars had overturned onto its roof after the collision.
CHP reports that at least one person was killed in the crash.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
