2 Men Hospitalized after Car Slams into Parked Vehicles on W. Sherman Way in Valley Glen

Los Angeles, CA. – Two men were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into parked cars Monday evening in the Valley Glen neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident took place around 8:15 p.m. in the 13136 block of West Sherman Way near Ethel Avenue.

LAFD said a car occupied by two men spun out and crashed directly into the rear of a vehicle parked on the curbside. The collision resulted in a chain-reaction crash involving two other parked vehicles. All the parked cars were unoccupied.

The car that spun out caught fire shortly after the accident and the fire spread to the vehicle that was first hit.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and found the two men had already self-extricated themselves from their vehicle.

The firefighters extinguished the flames and treated both men at the scene before transporting them to the hospital. One patient was listed in serious condition, and the other in fair condition.

Authorities are investigating the accident.
