The CHP said two vehicles were involved in the crash but its cause was not immediately established

Fallbrook, CA – One person was taken to a hospital after a crash near an intersection in Fallbrook on Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At about 9 p.m., authorities were called to the scene of the crash in the area of Ammunition Road and South Mission Road.
The CHP said two vehicles were involved in the crash but its cause was not immediately established.
One person was transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
One of the drivers was reportedly suspected of DUI.
The incident remained under investigation.
