Priest was riding a black motorcycle while splitting between number 1 and 2 lanes when he rear-ended a Honda Pilot.

San Diego, CA. – 59-year- old David Ray Priest of San Diego has been identified as the rider killed in a crash on Interstate 8 in San Diego Friday evening.
The wreck was reported at about 6:53 p.m. on June 28 on 8 Freeway near College Avenue.
Priest was riding a black motorcycle while splitting between number 1 and 2 lanes when he rear-ended a Honda Pilot.
Priest was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
