CHP said two vehicles were involved in the head-on collision at Florin and Exclesior Roads

Vineyard, CA – Several people were hurt in a collision that took place near Vineyard in Sacramento County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place on Florin and Exclesior roads just after 4:30 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles were involved in the head-on collision.
Details on what led up to the accident were not immediately available.
Six people were taken to hospital following the crash.
Two of the patients had critical injuries while the other two had moderate injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
