Multiple vehicles including a semi-truck were involved in the accident

Los Angeles, CA. – At least one person died in a collision involving a UPS truck on Wednesday night in Pasadena.
The fatal collision happened around 11:45 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway near Madre Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A sedan, a UPS truck and another semi-truck were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
One vehicle ended up on a hillside, trapping one person. The victim had to be extricated by the firefighters.
One person was transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
