Ramona, CA. – A 63-year-old Ramona man was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 78 in Ramona.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. on State Route 78 and Salmon Road.
The Ramona resident was headed west on State Route 78 when the Chevrolet S-10 he was driving veered to the left and crashed head-on with an oncoming Isuzu box truck driven by a 46-year-old El Cajon man.
The Ramona man, whose name was not immediately disclosed, died at the scene, while the El Cajon man suffered no injuries.
The wreck remains under investigation.
