Los Angeles, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a traffic collision that took place Friday evening on Interstate 10 in the Jefferson Park neighborhood.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 7:54 p.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 just east of the Western Avenue off-ramp.
Authorities said a motorcycle collided with a car under unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was lying down in the No. 1 lane after the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the rider to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators closed the No. 1 and slow lanes following the accident.
