Mono County, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that took place Saturday afternoon in Lee Vining, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 2:21 p.m. on northbound Highway 395, just south of Tioga Lodge.
A silver van and a silver sedan were involved in the crash. The vehicles were blocking both lanes after the collision.
CHP officers and other emergency personnel responded to the scene and found one person trapped in one of the cars.
The trapped person had a laceration to the side of the face and complained of shoulder pain. The person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
