Tucson, AZ – One person was killed in a car collision on Thursday evening in Tucson, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The collision happened near 5200 N. Casa Grande Highway at about 8:30 p.m. July 4.
The PCSD said a Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling northbound on southbound N. Casa Grande Highway when it collided with an oncoming Ford pickup truck.
The juvenile who was driving the Chevrolet was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A passenger in the Chevrolet was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
No further details were released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
