Florin, CA – A bicycle rider was struck and Injured by a vehicle in Florin on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place on Florin Road near Highway 99 at about 7:03 p.m.
The CHP said the bicyclist was hit in the area under unclear circumstances.
The rider was taken to a hospital with major injuries following the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
