The Santa Rosa man was riding a motorcycle when he crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a Honda Odyssey minivan
Inverness, CA. – 22-year-old Emanuel Jimenez Romero has been identified as the man who died in a motorcycle accident near Inverness in Marin County on Sunday afternoon.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened around 2:15 p.m. in the area of Pierce Point Road and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
The Santa Rosa man was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a Honda Odyssey minivan near the intersection.
Romero was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
