Pedestrian fatally struck by car at North Chester Avenue and Universe Avenue in Oildale
Bakersfield, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Friday night in Oildale.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 9:35 p.m. in the area of North Chester Avenue and Universe Avenue.
A vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
According to the California Highway Patrol online logs, the pedestrian was killed in the collision.
The identity of the deceased person was not disclosed.
The Kern Sheriff's deputies were at the scene assisting.
