A Jeep Wrangler was driving the wrong-way on the freeway when it collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla driven by Reyes.
Indio, CA. – The name of a 41-year-old Palm Springs resident killed in a head-on collision on Interstate 10 in Indio early Sunday morning has been released.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Juan Reyes was involved in a deadly crash at around 2:45 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway near Monroe Street.
A Jeep Wrangler was driving the wrong-way on the freeway when it collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla driven by Reyes.
Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.
The wrong-way driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No additional details regarding the accident were available.
