Redding, CA. – One person was injured in a fiery car crash on Monday morning in Redding.
At around 8:59 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Highway 44 near Silver Bridge Road.
Officers who responded to the incident located two vehicles at the accident scene. Although the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established, one of the cars reportedly caught fire after the collision.
One person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
