Police said a tractor-trailer was heading east on Mountain Avenue when it attempted to make a left turn and collided with a Suzuki GSX motorcycle traveling south on Rose Avenue

Oxnard, CA. – Two people were injured in a motorcycle collision in Oxnard on Sunday night, according to the Oxnard Police Department.
The incident took place on South Rose and Mountain View avenues at about 7:11 p.m. July 14.
Police said a tractor-trailer was heading east on Mountain Avenue when it attempted to make a left turn and collided with a Suzuki GSX motorcycle traveling south on Rose Avenue.
The two people on the motorcycle were ejected by the impact of the crash.
The two riders were taken to Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Speed is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The accident is under investigation.
