Soules was pronounced dead at the scene while Koehler was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.

Linn County, OR. – Gemini Uvon Soules, 21, of Albany was killed and Justin Koehler, 51, of Silverton was hospitalized after a head-on collision on Highway 34 in Linn County Monday morning.
The Oregon State Police responded to the wreck on State Route 34 near milepost 4 at around 11:51 a.m. on July 15.
The preliminary investigation indicated an eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by Soules crossed into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Koehler.
Soules was pronounced dead at the scene while Koehler was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.
The roadway was impacted for several hours during the on-site investigation.
