The car, carrying a 6-month-old, along with a 2-year-old, a 3-year-old, and two adults, was making a left turn off the highway when it was rear-ended by another car driven by a female driver.

Chewelah, WA. – A 6-month- old was killed in a Monday morning rear-end collision on Highway 395 in Chewelah Monday morning.
According to the Washington State Police, the mishap happened at around 10:30 a.m. on July 15 on State Route 395 near milepost 200.
The car, carrying a 6-month-old, along with a 2-year-old, a 3-year-old, and two adults, was making a left turn off the highway when it was rear-ended by another car driven by a female driver.
The 6-month-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver of the second vehicle was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment.
More details regarding the wreck were not provided.
