Sacramento, CA. – A scooter rider was injured after being struck by a car on Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Calvine Road near Highway 99 at around 5:45 p.m.
A vehicle attempted to make a turn onto Calvine Road when it struck a pedestrian riding a scooter.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
